Sailor Moon Crystal is an animation and science fiction and fantasy television series that premiered in 2014. The story follows Usagi Tsukino, who is a normal second-year middle school girl until her life changes after encountering a talking black cat with a crescent moon on its forehead named Luna. Luna tells Usagi that she is a chosen guardian of justice with the power to transform into Sailor Moon. Usagi is given a new responsibility and a mission to find the Illusionary Silver Crystal, as well as the other chosen guardians, in order to protect the Moon Princess. While undertaking this mission, Usagi must deal with various enemies who are sent by Queen Beryl, who is also searching for the Illusionary Silver Crystal.
