Rumble Garanndoll is a Japanese anime television series. The series takes place in Japan, in the year 2019, just before the dawn of a new era. A rift to another dimension appears in the sky, revealing an alternative world "Shinkoku Nippon." This parallel world is characterized by its former militarism and an era known as Eternal Showa. The military from "Shinkoku Nippon" invades the real Japan with giant humanoid robots called "GARANN" and their gas weapons "GENMU." The invasion renders modern Japanese weapons ineffective, allowing "Shinkoku Nippon" to seize the government and achieve de facto conquest of Japan. The new era, "Reiwa," has not arrived for Japan as a result of this invasion. The series is animated by Lerche and aired from October to December 2021.
