Razia reveals her identity as the real Sultan. The audience falls silent on finding out that Sultan is a woman. People start walking away from Razia as they are not ready to change their ancestral rituals and accept a woman as their Sultan. Razia tries justifying herself, but in vain. Rukn-ud-din and Shah Turkan mock Razia. Shamshad Begum is disappointed with her behaviour. She feels Razia's main intention was to amass position and power in Delhi. Turkan asks Yildiz if he wants to harm Razia.
