Razia is running from the gangsters. They are about to attack her, when Mirza finds them. Mirza takes a dagger on Razia's behalf and saves her life. Razia is overwhelmed. Yaqut arrives while Mirza is fighting with the gangsters. Mirza is badly hurt. Razia saves him. Yaqut misleads Razia about Mirza's intentions for saving her life. Yaqut and Razia take shelter in the cave for the night. Shamshad Begum prays for welfare. Razia is conflicted about Mirza.
