Overview
Raised by Wolves is an American science fiction drama television series. The show is set in a world where Earth has been ravaged by a great religious war, and an atheistic android architect sends two of his creations, Mother and Father, to start a peaceful, godless colony on a distant planet. Their task is jeopardized by the arrival of the Mithraic, a deeply devout religious order of surviving humans. The series was created by Aaron Guzikowski for HBO Max and premiered on September 3, 2020. Ridley Scott directed the first two episodes and serves as an executive producer for the show. The series was renewed for a second season shortly after its debut, with Ridley Scott continuing his involvement as an executive producer.
