Rainbow is a British children's television series that was created by Pamela Lonsdale. The series features music and stories and is set in the Rainbow House, where characters such as George, Bungle, and Zippy reside. The show originally ran from 16 October 1972 until 6 March 1992 and was produced by Thames Television. It was later revived by Tetra Films from 10 January 1994 until 24 March 1997 in two different formats. The series includes a total of at least 31 episodes from the original run. The show was directed by Daphne Shadwell and features Geoffrey Hayes and Roy Skelton. Rainbow has a rating of 6.9 out of 10 based on over 1,055 reviews.
