Overview

Radio Day is a 2008 film that explores the chaotic operations of a fictional radio station. The story centers on the staff of the station, known as Kak By Radio or As IF Radio, as they prepare for a significant broadcast marathon during the day of radio in Russia. In an effort to increase their ratings, the team decides to host a live event featuring famous bands. The broadcast is intended to support a small circus ship that has become stranded without fuel in the Sea of Japan. As the staff works to manage the event, they attempt to transform a minor accident into a global catastrophe. However, the production faces unexpected complications as the narrative follows two intertwined stories involving the radio station and the stranded vessel. The film depicts the unusual and frantic working environment of the station employees as they navigate an urgent crisis while attempting to complete their planned broadcast. The project involved a production team of producers, writers, and a director, and featured a cast of seventeen actors.
