Quick Trial is a drama and crime film released on June 9, 1974, directed by Lucio De Caro. The film has a runtime of one hour and thirty-five minutes. The plot begins following a terrorist attack against a train, after which the police arrest a young laborer named Stefano Baldini, who is a member of a group of militant leftists. Stefano is entrusted for interrogation to Sergeant Pendico and special agents Lorusso and Spasiani. After four days, Stefano dies in unclear circumstances. Doubting the official version of the police, which marks the second time a young person has died in custody, a journalist named Cristina Visconti attempts to discover the truth with the aid of Stefano's sister. In doing so, they encounter a conspiracy of silence that encircles the actions of Pendico and his associates, leaving them frustrated.
