Remembering her special moments with Gangadhar, Laxmi Bai's sole thought is to join Gangadhar and Damodar. The people of Jhansi plead with Laxmi Bai not to abandon them. Ali Bahadur motivates his soldiers to capture Jhansi and, putting his flag in the British commissary, heads towards the fort. Gangadhar is laid on the pyre, and the widow's ritual begins for Laxmi Bai.
