Laxmibai decides not to tell Gangadhar anything until she gathers enough proof against the conspirators, so she says that even she does not know who they are, and that she only happened to see the bell falling on him. Tatya Dixit gets medicines for Laxmibai, but Gangadhar wants it tested first. When Gangadhar is satisfied, he asks Tatya Dixit to give his queen the medicine. However, Tatya Dixit pours medicine from another pouch into the milk, and Laxmibai drinks it. Gangadhar tells Laxmibai that he is going to Lord Shiva's temple so that the evidences are not tampered with. Gangadhar inspects the burnt rope in the temple and investigates the cause.
