Overview
Queen: A Night at the Odeon is a concert film featuring the rock band Queen. The film captures the band's legendary show at London's Hammersmith Odeon on Christmas Eve in 1975, which stands as one of the best recorded and dynamic early shows available. The performance took place a month after the release of A Night At The Opera and soon after that work reached number one. The concert was videotaped for BBC television for The Old Grey Whistle Test, which was hosted by Bob Harris. While most of the performance was taped, the BBC cameras were turned off when Queen returned to the stage following the Jailhouse Rock encore to play additional songs. Because the cameramen were unable to capture that portion of the event, those final songs remained unseen after thirty-five years. The production is classified in the music genre, carries a PG-13 rating, has a runtime of one hour and three minutes, and has a US release date of November 20, 2015.
