Overview

Private Practice is an American medical drama television series created by Shonda Rhimes that aired on the American Broadcasting Company. The series follows the life of neonatal surgeon Addison Forbes Montgomery after she leaves Seattle Grace Hospital. Seeking sunnier weather and new possibilities, she moves to Los Angeles and reunites with friends from medical school. She joins them at their chic, co-op practice, which is known as the Oceanside Wellness Center in Santa Monica and later identified as the Seaside Health and Wellness Center. The program features an ensemble cast including Kate Walsh, Paul Adelstein, KaDee Strickland, and Taye Diggs.
