Michael, who is a structural engineer, possesses the blueprints for Fox River State Penitentiary. He executes a plan to get himself incarcerated within the same facility as his brother. Once inside the prison, Michael works to carry out an elaborate scheme to break Lincoln out and prove his innocence. The narrative focuses on the brothers' efforts to escape from the inside out. The series, which originally aired between 2005 and 2017, features Dominic Purcell as Lincoln Burrows and Wentworth Miller as Michael Scofield.
