As Ash and his partner Pikachu continue their journey, they encounter a situation involving the Pidgey on a protected island. Because these Pidgey reside in a protected location, they do not have to worry about being attacked. As a result of this safe environment, most of the Pidgey on the island have lost interest in flying. However, despite the general lack of interest among the others, one particular Pidgey still retains a distinct aspiration. This ambitious Pidgey dreams of soaring beyond the stars. Facing this unusual situation, Ash and his friends wonder if they can help the aspiring Pidgey achieve its goal.
