S5·E19 Extreme Pokémon!

Episode recap

Ash runs into his old rival Gary, who is preparing to enter his Arcanine in a race. Upon this encounter, Ash decides that he will also compete in the event. However, before Ash can focus on the race, he first has to chase Team Rocket away from the Pokemon Day Care. The episode follows these events as Ash prepares for the competition while dealing with the interference of Team Rocket at the Pokemon Day Care alongside his partner Pikachu.
