In the ninth episode of the third season of the television series Pokémon, titled The Little Big Horn, Brock comes across a lost and frightened Stantler fawn. The animated series follows the journey of Ash and his partner Pikachu as they travel. Pokémon is a Japanese anime series that was created as a companion to video game franchises. The anime series generally presents the same story used in the individual video games, accompanied by a number of story diversions. In this episode, Brock carefully nurses the lost and frightened Stantler fawn back to health before finally releasing it.
