As Ash and his friends travel, they arrive on the next island where they observe a team of firefighters. This firefighting team consists of Squirtles, Wartortles, and Blastoises. Eager to test its skills, Ash's Squirtle gets the opportunity to train alongside them. However, their training is quickly interrupted when an actual fire breaks out, forcing the training session to turn into a reality where they must respond to the emergency.
