Following the acquisition of his third Orange League Badge, Ash and his friends arrive on an island. During their time there, Pikachu is captured by Team Rocket and ends up chained to Meowth. Shortly after this event, both Pikachu and Meowth are taken away by a giant Pidgeot. While trapped together under these circumstances, the longtime rivals eventually learn how to get along.
