Ash and his friends finally make their way to Viridian City where Ash hopes to earn his Earth Badge. Pokémon is a Japanese anime television series that originated as a companion to video game franchises. The anime series loosely presents the same story as the individual video games, though naturally with a multitude of story detours. The series is part of the overall Pokémon franchise, which follows Ash accompanied by his partner Pikachu as he travels.
