The story follows a ladies' man named David Mitchell, played by Paul Campbell, who gives his lonely grandfather Joe, played by Andy Griffith, some pointers on dating. With this advice, Joe becomes a big hit with the women in his retirement community. However, David strikes out with his own tricks when he tries to woo a girl named Julie, played by Marla Sokoloff. It is then up to Joe to teach his grandson how to win at love without playing games. This award winning comedy was Andy Griffith's last film credit before his death on July 3, 2012. The film has a runtime of one hour and forty-five minutes and was released in the United States on February 27, 2009, with a PG-13 rating.
