Overview

The film Places in the Heart is set in rural Texas and tells the story of a woman's struggles. In 1935, the main character Edna Spaulding faces significant challenges after a recent life change. Edna is tasked with caring for two small children and managing a farm, all while dealing with limited financial resources. Her situation is further complicated by a tornado and the presence of the Ku Klux Klan.
