Overview

"Pinju Manasu" is a 2009 Indian film. The story revolves around Hulasi, an orphan who works as a peon in an engineering college. He falls in love with the college professor Devi, who comes from a wealthy background. The two get married in secret, but their union is met with disapproval from Devi's father, a powerful minister. As a result, Hulasi and Devi move to Chennai to start their life together. Six years into their marriage, Devi struggles with the fact that they do not have children, leading to feelings of depression. Eventually, Devi becomes pregnant and gives birth to a baby boy. However, the birth takes a toll on Devi's health, and she is informed by the doctor that she is unable to have another child due to damage to her womb.
