Pinamar is a drama film released on August 20, 2016, with a runtime of one hour and twenty-three minutes. The story follows brothers Pablo and Miguel as they return to the coastal resort town of Pinamar during the off-season following the death of their mother. Their primary objectives for the trip are to scatter her ashes in the Atlantic Ocean and finalize the sale of the family apartment. Upon their arrival, they are received by Laura, a beautiful young local who was a childhood friend of Miguel. Among music, drinks, and games, Laura awakens the desire of the brothers, transforming what initially seemed like a trip that revolves around death into an adventure that connects them to the memory of past summers.
