Panor 2025

Overview

Panor is a 2025 Thai psychological horror film directed by Putipong Saisikaew. The film serves as a loose reboot of the Art of the Devil series, with Saisikaew returning to the helm after previously co-directing the second installment. The story centers on a young woman named Panor who was born during an ancient village ritual involving black magic. Because of the circumstances of her birth, she faces social isolation as mysterious misfortunes plague the people around her. To resolve her situation, she must investigate and uncover the truth behind the dark curse that has haunted her since she was born. The film features a cast that includes Cherprang Areekul, Jackrin Kungwankiatichai, Rattanawadee Wongthong, Natthawat Thanattaweeprasert, and Nantawan Pongprasertsin. The project was showcased at the New York Asian Film Festival. The film is also known by its Thai title, Phano. It explores themes of supernatural influence and the struggle for identity within the context of a cursed existence.
