The story follows the Straw Hat Pirates when they land at Asuka Island, which is the home of the Seven Star Sword, described as the most valuable sword in the world and said to curse anyone who takes it into their possession. Upon returning to the Going Merry, the crew discovers that Zoro is missing from his guard duty. Before they can plan a search party, Luffy and the others must escape from the port because Marines are on their tail. They find a new place to dock near a village whose job is to keep the Seven Star Sword sealed. Soon, the area is attacked by the Marines, and Zoro is among them.
