Released in 2022, the film Ogre is a horror, fantasy, and drama feature with a runtime of one hour and forty-three minutes. The story follows six-year-old Jules and his mother Chloé as they arrive in a deserted French countryside. In an effort to start a new life and move away from a painful past, Chloé accepts a position running the village school. However, the seemingly quiet community remains unsettled due to the unexplained disappearance of a young boy that occurred months earlier. Meanwhile, Mathieu, the local town doctor, shows an interest in Chloé. As Mathieu and Chloé grow closer, her son Jules becomes increasingly anxious. Jules senses that Mathieu is a beast who intends to devour him and take his mother away. The film was presented at the 2022 Gérardmer International Fantastic Film Festival.
