Overview
Nightmare Beach is a 1989 slasher film also released as Welcome to Spring Break. The film is directed by Umberto Lenzi and Harry Kirkpatrick, and it stars Nicolas de Toth, Sarah Buxton, John Saxon, and Michael Parks. Set in Miami, Florida, the story begins as biker gang leader Edward Diablo Santer faces execution for murder. Before his death, he proclaims his innocence and vows revenge from the grave. Later, during Spring Break festivities, a mysterious biker arrives in town, and several teenagers are electrocuted to death. This wave of violent deaths leads some people to suspect that Santer has made good on his promise of vengeance. The horror and thriller film has a runtime of one hour and thirty minutes and carries an R rating.
