Lucas is desperate, sponsor Sonya refuses to help the relapsed gambling addict and he finds out Vanessa, who mentioned postponing their wedding, is meeting her first love, Alex Pocoli, who actually came to tell her their short-lived marriage was never annulled and he wants her back. Just when Paul is about to snap up below asking price Lucas's house at auction, Vanessa arrives to stop him.
