S22·E16 Ladies' Night

Episode recap

NCIS is a crime, drama, and action and adventure television series that follows a Major Case Response Team of the NCIS as they investigate criminal cases connected to United States Navy and Marines Corps personnel and their families. The series deals with cases involving murder, espionage, terrorism, and stolen submarines.

During season twenty-two, episode sixteen, titled Ladies' Night, a planned girls' night out takes an unexpected turn. NCIS is called into action to investigate the motive of a possible arsonist.

The television series originated from two back-door pilot episodes of an existing show, JAG, that aired in April 2003, and officially premiered later that year. Over its long-running broadcast history, the mothership series has featured various cast members and characters, including long-tenured personnel who have been with the program from its earliest seasons through its current broadcast run. The procedural drama focuses heavily on the investigative work conducted by the special agents assigned to the Major Case Response Team, applying military and criminal investigative methods to solve complex cases tied to naval and marine personnel and their loved ones.
