My Son is a 2017 drama, thriller, and mystery film directed by Christian Carion. The story follows a busy man whose passion for his job filling his time traveling to Africa, South America, and the Middle East has distanced him from his loved ones. Having been divorced for three years, he has seen his son very little. When his child disappears, he is forced to stand still and soon discovers things about his ex-wife and his son. Overwhelmed by a terrible feeling of guilt, the absentee father returns from overseas and decides to find his son at all costs by any means necessary, embarking on a dark path to find the truth. The film has a runtime of one hour and twenty-four minutes and was released in France on September 20, 2017.
