The protagonist, a wealthy heiress named Catarina Claes, recovers memories of her past life after being hit in the head with a rock. She realizes that the world she now inhabits is the setting of a game called Fortune Lover, which she was obsessed with in her previous life. Upon discovering that she has been cast as the villain character who attempts to foil the protagonist's romances, she learns that her role is destined for doom.
