Overview
Muay Thai Warrior is an action and drama film released on December 2, 2010, with a runtime of one hour and forty minutes. The film is based on a true historic figure named Yamada Nagamasa, who was a Japanese adventurer that traveled to Ayothaya in the sixteenth century. There, he became a soldier serving in the army of King Naresuan. After the war in Burma, unrest spreads through Ayothaya when a mysterious group of men begins to terrorize and plunder the city. Yamada pursues these men and discovers that they are actually rebellious Japanese samurai. As a result, Yamada is forced to fight against his own countrymen. The film combines elements of Japanese swordplay with the brutality of ancient muay thai.
