In the television series Modern Family, season five, episode three, titled Larry's Wife, several storylines unfold for the interrelated family living in suburban Los Angeles. Phil finds that his job takes up a significant amount of his time. Meanwhile, Luke hosts his friends over for a poker game at the house. Elsewhere, Gloria spends time worrying that the baby is cursed. Additionally, Cam takes on the task of hosting a funeral for the cat's imaginary wife. The series itself follows the lives of three diverse family set-ups that make up the large Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker clan, created by writers Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan.
