In the fifteenth episode of the fourth season of Modern Family, titled Heart Broken, various members of the Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker clan attempt to celebrate Valentine's Day with mixed results. Claire and Phil's romantic Valentine's Day romp concludes with Claire ending up in the hospital. Meanwhile, Jay and Gloria try to find time for romance, but their efforts face constant interruption.
