In the episode After the Fire of the television series Modern Family, the Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker clan, representing three diverse but interrelated family setups living in suburban Los Angeles, rallies for a good cause after a neighbor experiences a house fire. However, their Samaritan intentions come with a series of downsides for the family members.

While attempting to help out, Jay throws out his back. Meanwhile, Cameron takes on a moving truck, and some donated toys unfortunately fall into the wrong hands. The series itself follows the lives of the members within this large, multi-cultural, and modern family.
