Episode recap

In the eleventh episode of the third season of Modern Family, Phil contemplates the worst after missing a call from the doctor. Elsewhere, Javier, who is Manny's biological father, pays another visit to take his son to the horse races. Meanwhile, Mitchell wins an environmental law award, which creates a competition between Cam and himself regarding who has the better trophy. In addition, Gloria tutors Haley in Spanish. The television series, created by Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan, follows the lives of three diverse but interrelated family setups living in suburban Los Angeles, forming a wonderfully large, straight, gay, multi-cultural, and traditional happy family known as the Pritchett, Dunphy, and Tucker clan.
