S1·E11 Up All Night

In the eleventh episode of the first season of Modern Family, titled Up All Night, multiple households deal with unexpected disruptions through the night. Gloria is less than pleased with Jay's reaction to the arrival of Javier, who is Manny's infamously unreliable dad. Meanwhile, Phil is suffering from kidney stones, and his dramatics leave Claire with no other choice but to call for the hot firemen to rush him to the hospital. Elsewhere, Mitchell and Cameron have a harder time than Lily as they attempt to sleep train her. The series itself follows the lives of three diverse but interrelated family set-ups living in suburban Los Angeles, forming the Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker clan. The show was created by Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan.
