Synopsis
Jay has just recently married his younger, Colombian wife, Gloria, but he's having trouble keeping up with her and her son Manny. Claire is having trouble with her own family, especially with her husband Phil, who thinks he can be hip with his three kids. Also, Mitchell and his partner Cameron adopt a Vietnamese baby, Lily.

In the series premiere of the comedy Modern Family, Jay has recently married his younger, Colombian wife, Gloria, but he experiences trouble keeping up with both her and her son Manny. Meanwhile, Claire encounters trouble with her own family, particularly with her husband Phil, who believes he can be hip with their three kids. Additionally, Mitchell and his partner Cameron adopt a Vietnamese baby named Lily.
