Overview
Mitsuboshi Colors is a television series that premiered in 2018. The show follows the lives of three young girls who reside in the Ueno district of Tokyo. These girls, known as the Colors, spend their time exploring the city and playing make-believe, often pretending that they are defenders protecting the peace of their community. Their activities are supported by a man named Daigorou Kujiraoka, also known as Pops, who provides the group with various knick-knacks from his store. While the trio believes they are performing good deeds to aid their neighborhood, their actions are not always appreciated by everyone, including a local policeman named Saitou. The series is an adaptation of a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Katsuwo, which was serialized in Dengeki Daioh magazine. The anime television production was directed by Tomoyuki Kawamura and produced by Silver Link. The voice cast for the series includes Yûki Takada, Marika Kôno, Natsumi Hioka, and Brittney Karbowski.
