Mister Ed is an American television sitcom that aired from 1961 to 1966. The series follows Wilbur Post, who discovers that the horse left behind in his new barn can talk, though only he can hear it. The talking horse, known as Mister Ed, often causes mischief and gets Wilbur into various comedic situations. Created by Walter R. Brooks and Sonia Chernus, the show stars Alan Young as Wilbur Post and Connie Hines as his wife Carol. Allan Lane also appears in the main cast.
