Overview
Miss Scarlet is a television series that premiered in 2020. The show is a British-American period television crime drama created by Rachael New. It stars Kate Phillips as the title character, a Victorian era private detective. The series follows Eliza Scarlet as she continues her father's detective agency after his death. To operate in a male-dominated world, she needs a partner and teams up with a detective known as the Duke. The two strike up a mismatched and fiery relationship as they solve crime in 1880's London. The first series debuted on Alibi in the United Kingdom on 31 March 2020. The show has been released under the title Miss Scarlet and The Duke in series 1-4. The series features a cast including Cathy Belton, Simon Ludders, and Stuart Martin.
