Overview

Misbegotten is a feature film released in the United States on June 23, 1998, categorized under the horror, thriller, and drama genres with a runtime of one hour and thirty-five minutes. The film was directed by Mark L. Lester, who regarded it as one of his favorite films in part because he admired the writing of Larry Cohen. The cast includes Kevin Dillon, Nick Mancuso, Lysette Anthony, and Robert Lewis. The story follows an impatient, infertile couple who seek help at a sperm bank to have a child and are initially thrilled when the procedure works. However, their joy is cut short after they discover that the donor is a psychopath. The killer, who had troubles with relationships with women, tracks the woman down to terrorize her and her husband, and proves willing to kill anyone who stands between him and his baby.
