In the third season of the television series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, specifically in the episode titled Backwarder, an event unfolds involving Marinette. Marinette mixes up some messages, which leads to a significant consequence involving an old love of Master Fu. Due to this mix-up, this former love transforms into the villain known as Backwarder.
