Episode recap

The episode opens with Marinette hosting a sleepover at her apartment. Alya, who is also present, decides to discipline her twin sisters, Etta and Ella, for misbehaving during the night. While the girls are being punished, a mysterious dark energy appears and akumatizes the twins, transforming them into monstrous creatures. The newly created monsters possess a unique ability: each time they consume something, they multiply, rapidly increasing the number of threats that roam the apartment and spill out onto the streets of Paris.

The sudden surge of multiplying monsters draws the attention of the city’s protectors. Marinette and Adrien, already aware of their responsibilities as Ladybug and Cat Noir, respond to the emergency. Upon arriving, they quickly assess the situation, recognizing that the twins have been akumatized and that the monsters’ growth is linked to their feeding. The heroes understand that stopping the monsters from eating is essential to preventing an uncontrolled expansion.

Ladybug and Cat Noir coordinate their efforts, using their respective powers to contain the creatures while searching for a way to break the akuma’s influence. Their strategy focuses on limiting the monsters’ access to food and isolating them, thereby preventing further multiplication. Through a combination of agility, clever use of Ladybug’s Lucky Charm, and Cat Noir’s cat‑acrobatic attacks, they manage to subdue the creatures one by one.
