Overview

Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series is a television program featuring a race of humanoid ducks from the planet Puckworld who share a passion for hockey. The story follows a group of rebels known as the Mighty Ducks who oppose the villainous Dragaunus after he seizes control of their home world. During their conflict with Dragaunus, the rebels manage to force him to flee the planet, but the ensuing battle results in both the ducks and their enemy falling through a dimensional portal. This event leaves the group stranded in Anaheim, California. To maintain their mission of stopping Dragaunus and searching for a path back to their home, the ducks establish a secret base located beneath the Anaheim Pond. While living in this new environment, they adopt the identity of a hockey team. The series chronicles their ongoing efforts to defend against Dragaunus while they navigate life in their new surroundings and work toward their ultimate goal of returning to Puckworld.
