Medcezir is a Turkish teen drama series that is an adaptation of the American TV series The O.C. The story revolves around Yaman, a boy with a poor background and disturbed family life, and a rich girl named Mira. Yaman lives in the suburb of Tozludere in Istanbul and is portrayed by Çağatay Ulusoy. The series was written by Ece Yörenç and Melek Gençoğlu and is also known as Tide or Ebb and Tide. Yaman's life takes a turn when he is arrested and put in jail with his brother, after which he meets a rich lawyer named Selim Serez. The series explores themes of crime, family life, and social class, and features a cast including Serenay Sarikaya, Metin Akdülger, and Baris Falay. Medcezir was created by Josh Schwartz, the creator of The O.C., and has been made available to stream online through various platforms.
