Mashin Creator Wataru is a 2025 anime television series produced by Bandai Namco Pictures. It serves as the fifth television entry in the Mashin Hero Wataru franchise and functions as a reboot of the series. The project was created by Hajime Yatate and features a voice cast including Kentaro Tone, Taisuke Nakano, Eiko Hanawa, and Yuji Kameyama. The story follows Wataru Hoshibe, a fourth-grade elementary school student and aspiring RyuTuber who dreams of becoming a superstar. His journey begins when he is transported to the parallel world of Chubukai. There, he acts as a legendary savior alongside his robot partner, Ryujinmaru. This Mashin was created by Wataru using blocks specifically to defeat the final boss, Enjoda. The series began airing on January 12, 2025, on TV Tokyo-related stations. Additionally, a manga adaptation illustrated by Yakiniku is scheduled for serialization in the January 2025 issue of Monthly Corocoro Comic, which was released on December 13, 2024.
