Overview

The Indian Hindi series Maddam Sir is a comedy‑action television show that aired from 24 February 2020 until 18 February 2023 on Sony SAB and was also available for streaming on SonyLIV. Set in Lucknow, the narrative centres on an all‑women police station where four distinct officers manage daily duties and investigations. Pushpa, the senior head constable, balances her professional responsibilities with family life, while the hot‑tempered Sub‑Inspector Karishma often clashes with the station’s emphasis on reconciliation. Santosh Sharma, a young recruit, experiences the challenges of living alone in the city, and the station’s leader, S.H.O. Haseena Mallik, combines wit and romance while leading by example. A male constable, Cheetah Chaturvedi, is also part of the team and harbours affection for Santosh.
