Synopsis
In Joan's world, a mother is anything but a loving and responsible homemaker. When her father died, she becomes short of a family fortress. Joan's mother, Adela, is an incessant gambler who soon brings home her abusive lover. How long can she stand a dire home environment especially that she is advancing to adulthood?
