Love for Rent is a Turkish romantic drama television series that originally aired from 2015 to 2017. The program, also known by its Turkish title Kiralik Ask, features a cast including Elcin Sangu, Baris Arduc, Salih Bademci, Sinem Ozturk, Nergis Kumbasar, and Levent Ulgen. The series premiered on Star TV on June 19, 2015, and concluded its run on January 20, 2017, spanning a total of two seasons and 69 episodes. The story follows the character Defne, who finds herself in a difficult situation when her brother is held captive due to financial debts. To secure the money needed to free him, Defne accepts a high-stakes proposal. She is tasked with making Omer, a wealthy shoe designer and business owner, fall in love with her and eventually marry her. This arrangement serves as the primary catalyst for the events depicted throughout the series, documenting the evolving relationship between the two main characters as they navigate the complications arising from this initial agreement.
